PPM at the DAKAR INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL FORUM

Faithful to their mission of supporting their everyday partners which are, among others, the Order and Syndicate of Pharmacists of Senegal and the Pharmaceutical Regulation Agency, PPM Laboratories participated, as a sponsor, in the 22nd edition of the International Pharmaceutical Forum which took place from June 1 to 4, 2023 in Dakar. Its theme was : “Pharmaceutical Sovereignty for Africa: challenges and opportunities”.

Despite a very tense socio-political situation materialized by violent demonstrations, the forum was attended by more than 2,000 participants, mainly from abroad. Many workshops were held and important topics discussed. One of the most important moments was the visit to the booths by the President of the Republic of Senegal.

This forum was a forum for PPM laboratories to highlight its image through some of its flagship products such as KEM and Carbotoux 2% and also through its entire ranges.

The PPM stand and its team received many partners divided into two categories.

That of the pharmaceutical authorities with the Inter Syndicate of Pharmacists of Africa (ISPHARMA), the Association of National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authorities (AARNP), the Inter Order of Pharmacists of Africa (IOPA), the African Association of Central Procurement of Essential Generic Medicines (ACAME), the Conference of Deans of Faculties of Pharmacy in Africa (CADPHARM), the Pharmaceutical Regulation Agency of Senegal. For the latter, PPM Laboratories received almost all of its members with whom very interesting exchanges took place, in particular with Dr. Madicke Diagne.

The other category of visitors was that of Senegalese and international pharmacists, which enabled the PPM team to answer many questions relating to Carbotoux and the PPM ranges.
